From the very first time we contacted Joanna and Ken, to the end of our wedding night, they answered any and all questions promptly, were extremely helpful at every corner, and made us feel special and taken care of throughout the entire process. The venue is beyond beautiful. Whether you are in the barn, the playground, the grass, or any hang out area, the beauty and attention to detail did not disappoint. I wish we could get married again just to be able to relive such a fun night! If this isn’t the best wedding venue in Oregon it should be. 10/10 would recommend to anyone looking to make some amazing memories. Thanks Sungate!!!

It was extremely easy to coordinate with the owners, and we were able to visit multiple times while figuring out the placement of furniture and decor. The day of our wedding, Ken, Joanna, and Nichole made sure everything was running smoothly and were so helpful. I highly recommend this beautiful venue. We had about 90 guests and held everything indoors, the ceremony, reception, ect. and it was the perfect size!

We booked it as our venue 6 months before our wedding. It is run by a mom and pops making the atmosphere feel warm and welcoming. A few days later we had our first in-person visit and it was just as beautiful as in photos. It was like a dream come true. It’s exactly like the idea I had in my head of a barn but industrial rustic. The staff was extremely helpful and responsive. The team worked with us on scheduling all visits and was flexible since we don’t live in Grants Pass. The week before, the owners worked with us on making sure we had everything ready for the wedding. On the day-of the staff was attentive, friendly, accommodating and communicative. We’d highly recommend Sungate to anyone who wants their wedding in Grants Pass. Everything went so smooth on the day of I wasn’t stressed at all. This venue has a bridal suite that you can use to get ready which we used and it was amazing! So nice to have everything there and not worry about ruining hair or my dress. It had so much room for all my bridesmaids as well. Thank you Sungate!

We got married here in June. If you are looking for a venue with endless possibilities for set up, gorgeous landscaping, and a beautiful barn, look no further and book Sungate! The owners, Ken and Joanna are helpful and kind. They were very responsive to email correspondences when coordinating our wedding. The bridal party utilized the AirBnb that was onsite for getting ready! This was the prefect space for a small group of ladies. We used their brand new indoor barn for a event. WOW. It rained the day of our celebration and we were so grateful that it didn’t affect our party. The attention to detail, from the gorgeous finishes to the heating system inside the barn - made our experience absolutely worthy of spreading the word to everyone we know. There is so many ways to use the space, tons of beautiful rustic pieces you can use. Stunning long wooden tables and benches you can use, wooden arch, unique vintage horse carriage. Everything was done with intention, care and top notch quality! We will update our review our review once our pictures come in.

It’s the perfect mix between rustic and modern, they have TV’s that can play videos throughout the event which was such a fun touch! There is an outdoor pizza oven, indoor chef kitchen, kids playground, perfect parking options. Everything you need to cater to ALL your guests, doesn’t matter the age.
